old backup litecoin shows no balance or pending but transaction with Status: 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool

had mined litecoin years ago and just loaded my dat file to find that it doesn't show a balance just a transaction that is unconfirmed. with Status: 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool. is there a way to get these coins? I know the wallet before it was updated had all my coins in the wallet and everything was ok. why is it unconfirmed ? date shows 3/13/2014
