Old wallet backup filename
Old wallet backup filename Years ago I forgot the password of a wallet, and didn't care much about it because its value was low anyway. A few months ago I suddenly remembered a likely password, but now I'd have to find the wallet itself, which I likely have somewhere in some backup. Problem is, I don't know the filename, so searching for it is quite difficult. Nor I remember which wallet it was, except that: it wasn't the official one it was one of the very few that were around back then BTC price was ~3 USD, so I guess year was 2011. So, what I'd need to do is: find out which wallets were available for OS X more or less in that time period find out how did these wallets name their backup file I've tried with random google searches but I didn't came up with anything interesting: finding historical data, especially the backup filename, seems to be quite difficult… Any suggestions on how to proceed? http://ift.tt/2zUzzDA
