Multibit HD bug: I have wallet words, backup/restore files and password, cannot get access to my Bitcoin My MultiBit wallet has gone on something that can be described as something of a hissey fit. Refusing to recognise the password (which is correct, and has been the same password for years and which I have stored in a password store anyway) and refusing to restore from my backup files (*.zip.aes files), I re-installed the software (0.5.1) with no luck, I reinstalled the old software (0.4.1) with no luck either. I then found this http://ift.tt/2oSPFGv (a discussion about how to generate the list of private keys associated with your Multibit Wallet words - again, to no avail). I then saw that you can simply set up a wallet with the same wallet words in Simple Bitcoin Wallet and BreadWallet - but this simply didn't work either, they both crashed half-way through syncing with the Bitcoin network. I am 99.9% sure that the password is correct, that the wallet words which I archived...
