How can I generate various addresses for my wallet to receive payments

I am currently building a web application using NodeJS and I want user to be able to send payments. I believe I should only have one central wallet and one address per user to send to this wallet (the fees would be too high to have a different wallet per user). How do I generate different addresses for a wallet that I want to use as storage?
