BTC from coinbase to email
as a test i wanted to send some btc from my coinbase account to my bitaddress wallet. at coinbase i typed in the bitaddress address , amount etc and pressed send but they kept on insisting i add an email address. what email has got to do with sending bitcoin i don't know. at first i put the email i used to sign up with coinbase but was it was rejected. i then used my gmail address which was accepted! the btc was then sent here. i opened this email , viewed the transaction but nowhere here nor at my coinbase account is there ANY option to recover these btc or to send them to another wallet! what gives? why is everything to do with coinbase and bitcoin so confusing, counterintuitive and opaque? coders are supposed to be so clever but i think they are not in tune with the real world. get out of your bedrooms and meet real people and their needs.
