Is there anyway to sell bitconnect coin directly to usd?

Is there anyway to sell bitconnect coin directly to usd on a trusted exchange or wallet program? Honestly I don't know how the exchange on these cryptos work, I mean how your paper money(usd) will be send to you by another user on the exchange that try to buy, cause once you transfer the money to an exchange it's in the exchange(e.g. gemini) account, so it's not coming directly from that user that try to exchange his usd to your bitcoin, so how does these transactions for the gemini owner is hidden from the bank? cause then he has to answer to IRS about all this!
