How to send/recover coins in Armory with a "root key"?

I have coins in Armory and want to transfer to an exchange to cash it in. In sending coins I am ask for a passphrase, which I do not know or forgot. What I do have is "root key", 2 rows and 9 columns, as it indicates that it can be open in case i forgot my passphrase. How do I go about sending coins using a root key?

I spent 4 days scanning/downloading/initializing the data, and my hard drive is getting full. I need to solve the problem before my hard drive runs out of space.

My wallet version is 1.35c, and I started using Armory in summer of 2015, receiving coins from QuickBT. When I had it backup, the wallet property for security that has root key info in it says "single sheet (unencrypted)". Right now on Armory, the wallet property security says "Encrypted (AES256).

This are all the info I can share if someone wants to help me. Please help.

Sincerely

Tradam
