How to read the transaction confirmation history on blockexplorer.com and blockchain.info?
As I wrote here Which precautions should a newbie like me do when exporting keys from an Bitcoin Core wallet to an Electrum wallet, I try to rescue from the blockchain half an bitcoin I bought back in 2013. I upgraded my old Bitcoin QT wallet to Bitcoin Core wallet, and I have now run the Core wallet on the Internet for some hours, and it seems that the Core wallet have found the half bitcoin on the blockchain, but can I now spend it from the Core wallet?
Because it should be at least 6 transaction confirmations have I read some place, but at blockchain.info I only see my half an bitcoin is placed in an green rectangle, and in blockexplorer.com I only see “summary confirmed” half an bitcoin.
But where can I find if these transactions now are confirmed at least 6 times?
And is my Core wallet now ready for sending out funds from despite that it has only collected about 1/4 of the blockchain? Yes, I realise that I should change to Electrum wallet if I should recieve more new funds now.
