How do we test the lightning network's resilience to cheaters?

How do we test the lightning network's resilience to cheaters?

Now that the LN is here, how can i test out publishing an old lightning transaction? I'd like to see an actual (test net) anti-cheat transaction be published so i can feel confident about LN's security. Is this something that can be done through one of the 3 LN clients (eg in a command console or CLI)?
