Bitcoin wallet issue

need help. I recently sent some bitcoins from my bitcoin wallet to another. The adress is correct, I tripple checked. However, the receiving end still hasn`t got any bitcoins. I have the payment in my wallet, so there are some bitcoins flying around in nowhere? The transaction happend 12 hrs ago, I thought this should take minutes. What are my options?
