How to use Electrum 3 to get BCH coins

I have an Electrum 3 wallet with BTC held before Aug. 1st. I want to split the coins to realise my BCH (I know, it is a bit late, but...). I was trying to follow the instructions given in http://ift.tt/2o4LYxE. However on the Network pane of Electrum, I see no notice regarding the fork. I only see that I am connected to 10 nodes, with no notice of any chain split. How do I proceed?
